At Nørhaven A/S you will be assigned a personal contact that handles all details regarding your order. Your contact will monitor the order from beginning to end and make sure that everything falls into place. When we have received your order and agreed on the deadlines for the receipt of material we will send you an order confirmation.

When you have your material ready you can deliver it to us in a number of ways: You can upload it on your own or our FTP-server, send it by e- mail or on a CD to your personal contact.

If you wish to upload the material on our server please contact your personal contact at Nørhaven A/S and you will receive a login name and a password to the FTP-server.

We work mainly with ‘print ready material’ (PDF-files) but our Prepress colleagues can make changes in the material if you choose too.

When we have received your material your contact will start the process in the Prepress-department that will produce a coverproof and a print of the content.

We can send the print of the content and the coverproof to you either by post or by e-mail. This gives you the oppotunity to check that the order looks as you expect. If you have any corrections please send new PDF-files, however please note that our Prepress department can make minor changes.

After your approval, your personal contact will start the production of the book.

Production

Our production machinery consists of 6 printing presses up to 4 colours, 2 gluebinding systems and a full cover printing department with possibility of one or two-sided print on covers and inserts. 

We can manufacture various types of books within softcovers, hardcovers, catalogues, time tables, comics, dutch bind and stitched books.
All is printed in the right direction and we guarantee a flexible opening on all of our products.    

Furthermore we offer a wide number of possibilities when it comes to packing. This phase will be individually adjusted to the product according to your desire, whether it’s shrink-wrapped, packed in boxes or displays, on product- or on packet-labelling or packed with accessories such as pens, flyers, stickers, toys, etc.  You can se the specifications for production of cover-tickers here and in deutsch.

Your book really is judged by its cover and therefore we have made it our core competence to make the most essential part of your book stand out when it comes to subsequent treatment, whether it’s glossy or matt lamination, foiling, UV-varnishing, print-on-foil or spot-on.
We give you the possibility to utilize the inside of the cover, for example to present the author, up-coming titles or just to give your book something extra.
